Make-up, jewellery and decorative hair accessories are not permitted. One pair of plain gold sleepers is acceptable. Long hair must be pulled back off the collar and secured and boys must be clean shaven. All uniform items except shoes are available from the College Uniform Shop.

Yes. There are a few options if you wish to place telephone or online orders.
Telephone orders can be made and paid for by credit card by calling the school directly on 3350 3400 during opening hours. Please note during busy Thursday mornings it is preferable to call after 8.30 for over the phone orders.
Parents and students can use the free, downloadable QKR app to order and pay for uniform or stationery items at any time. The order will be filled on the next day the uniform shop is open and the items can be collected from student reception.

The students wear the formal uniform 4 days a week. The number of each item you require will depend on family circumstances and clothes washing routine.
The students are permitted to wear the sports uniform to school on the designated school sports day which is Thursday. If students have a Health & Physical Education lesson, they are instructed to bring their sports uniform to school to change into for that lesson only. One set of sports shorts and polo shirt is often enough to start with.
Yes. The college backpack is a compulsory uniform item.
The sports backsack and sports duffle bag are both optional and only to be used for carrying sporting attire, not in place of the College backpack.
The Mt Maria College jumper is able to be worn with both the formal uniform and the sports uniform. An optional tracksuit is also available to be worn with the sports uniform on a Thursday only.
During terms II and III, it is compulsory for the male students to wear the college tie. It is compulsory for boys in Years 10-12 to wear trousers. While trousers are not compulsory for boys in Years 7-9, they are available for purchase for boys in all year levels.
Both boys and girls in Years 10-12 are required to wear a college blazer during Terms II & III.
The Uniform Shop is open from 7.30am – 11.00am Monday and Thursday during school terms (excluding public holidays and student free days).

Sport team trials are held throughout the year. Team announcements are made and students are then made aware of the uniform requirements. Team uniforms are available for purchase from the Uniform Shop leading up to the beginning of the sport season.
